Description
Direct black EX is a direct dye, in the form of deep black powder, can be directly dissolved in water, the molecule contains sulfonic acid group, can be directly dyed in neutral conditions on cellulose fibers, has high directivity to cellulose, without the use of chemical methods. In the textile industry is usually used for dyeing natural fibers, such as wool, silk, but also used in cotton, hemp, rayon silk, rayon cotton dyeing.

Physical form: Direct black EX is a powder dye that is soluble in water.
Chemical composition: Brown black powder soluble in water is green light black, slightly soluble in ethanol, green light blue black, soluble in lysofibrin, insoluble in other organic solvents. In case of concentrated sulfuric acid is deep red blue, after dilution is purple paste color to red black precipitation; A yellowish-brown solution in concentrated nitric acid; A dark red-light black solution in concentrated hydrochloric acid. Its aqueous solution with concentrated hydrochloric acid was precipitated purplish color. When concentrated sodium hydroxide solution is added, gray precipitation is generated. For cellulose fiber dyeing, dye absorption is very good, the maximum affinity at 80℃. Dyeing can be done.
