Product character
Basic Violet 5BN (Basic Violet 3) is Soluble in alcohol. It is light yellow in case of concentrated sulfuric acid, dark green light yellow after dilution, and then turns blue and purple. Its aqueous solution meets sodium hydroxide and turns into a purple precipitate.
