Acid Yellow 11 (Acid light yellow G ) .Yellow powder, easily soluble in water, adding 10% sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide in aqueous solution, no change in color. Soluble in ethanol, yellow. Soluble in acetone, ethylene glycol ether. Slightly soluble in benzene, insoluble in other organic solvents. Yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid, no change after dilution; Yellow in concentrated nitric acid. The color is red when copper ions are encountered during dyeing. The color of iron ions is darker.
